Copyright & Takedown Policy

Scope and rights

Respect copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual-property rights in prompts, uploads, AI output, and published projects. AI assistance does not establish permission to reproduce someone else’s work. This is a general reporting process; it does not claim BuildBench has registered a US DMCA agent or qualifies for a statutory safe harbor.

Submitting a copyright complaint

The rights holder or authorized representative may email [email protected] with “Copyright complaint” and:

  • Your name, contact information, and authority to act for the rights holder.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work and the specific BuildBench-hosted URL or material alleged to infringe; identify each location clearly.
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, an agent, or applicable law.
  • A statement that your information is accurate and, where required for the procedure invoked, made under penalty of perjury, and that you are the owner or authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature, and any additional information required by applicable law.

Consider licenses, public-domain status, and applicable exceptions before submitting a complaint. Knowingly false or abusive reports may carry legal consequences. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

How reports are handled

We may request clarification, preserve relevant evidence, restrict or remove identified material, and notify the account holder, subject to applicable law. We may share the complaint and necessary contact details with the affected user or relevant parties to resolve it. We may suspend or terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, taking account of valid disputes and errors.

Disputing a removal

If you believe material was removed in error, reply to the notice or email support with the affected URL, your contact details, the basis for your rights or lawful use, and supporting evidence. Do not repost disputed material to evade a restriction.

Where a statutory counter-notice process applies, we will identify any additional required statements, service details, and procedural timelines. A US DMCA counter-notice, if applicable, can require consent to a specified court’s jurisdiction and acceptance of service; obtain advice before submitting it. A general appeal is not automatically a statutory counter-notice, and restoration is not guaranteed.
